Traffic Lights Have More Control Over Our Lives Than We Admit

Traffic lights did not come into our lives to manage traffic. That is a lie we collectively agreed upon. They came to test patience, ruin moods and expose who we truly are at 9:17 AM when we are already late.

Red is not a colour. Red is a lifestyle. Red means stop, wait, rethink your life choices, watch everyone else move ahead, and pretend you are calm when you are clearly not. In life too, we park ourselves at red lights for years. Waiting for permission. Waiting for signs. Waiting for the universe to stop being dramatic.

Green is overrated. Everyone thinks green means go. Wrong. Not every green signal is for you. Some are for the car next to you. Some are bait. Some appear when you are still emotionally tying your seatbelt. And when you finally decide to move, surprise, it is red again.

Yellow is elite. Yellow is peace. Yellow says slow down, breathe, do not make impulsive life decisions just because everyone behind you is honking. Yellow is that rare moment where chaos pauses and common sense briefly clocks in.

So no, life is not about chasing greens. It is about surviving reds, ignoring fake greens and finding calm in the yellow before life honks again.
