Nice, Trendy, or Just Tired

Somewhere between being nice and being trendy, we all got exhausted.

Fashion changes so fast it feels personal.

One day something is “in,” the next day it is apparently a crime.

Colours rotate. Silhouettes flip. A new aesthetic is born before the old one finishes loading.

Fast fashion tells us to keep up.

To buy more, faster, cheaper, and constantly.

As if closets have unlimited space and humans have unlimited energy.

But here is the quiet truth.

It is okay if you cannot keep up with 150,000 trends changing every single day.

It is okay if your favourite outfit is three years old and still makes you feel like yourself.

Trends are designed to move.

People are not.

Being nice to yourself sometimes means opting out.

Wearing what feels comfortable instead of current.

Choosing repeat outfits over reinvention.

Fashion is supposed to be expression, not pressure.

Style is supposed to feel personal, not punctual.

So if you are not trendy right now, maybe you are just rested.

And honestly, that might be the best look of all.
