Digital Echoes, Analog Roots

Blogging these days has become a mode to communicate and express which should not be required when we have numerous social media platforms that can put our voice in a more effective manner.

Then why do we still need this page, why do I still take time off those platforms to write something meaningful for this one, why is it so that you took your precious 5 minutes off your busy schedule, to look at this page? It ranges back to the age-old era, where the only mode of communication is through notes and cave buildings ,but, when we today can store information and perceive it and transmit it in such beautiful ways, why do we still adhere to these simpler ways of thinking? It’s like going back to basics, like a home-cooked meal after a long day of work: it’s comforting and familiar, even when there are so many modern conveniences.

The notion of life is one that moves and builds when it creates. What do we get from this? What keeps us coming back to this?Is there a meaning to it?

When we keep and post our thoughts on such simple platforms but with articularity we engage in something we can’t just keep calling old school. These sets of communications leave a lasting impact, where you don’t get to like, comment or get a shoutout from the creator, but once in a while when you like something you share it with your friends.

When Matthew Perry died, Diana died, Paul Walker died, MJ died and when Modi, Johnny Depp ,Obama and RDJ leave for higher abodes those platforms will remember them for a few decades but these are the pages who will still talk about their impact after 50-60 years down the line.

A fact that can be stated is that anything that is very revolutionary and dynamic becomes popular as fast as a jungle fire, and is caught, captured, and replaced by something even faster.Consequently, businesses must constantly innovate to remain successful and remain ahead of their competitors.

That brings me back to the beauty of this mode of communication. It is loved by a few, and those few come from every generation enough to keep it alive. Well, it might take a million people to make something a grand success but a few jolly idiots to keep a little goofy place alive and running.

For instance, the small town of Silverton, Colorado is a popular tourist destination due to its steam engines and horse-drawn carriages, which the locals lovingly refer to as the "dinky train". Dinky trains recall simpler times, like these simple static web pages linking together about simple authentic meanings of life, like a picture of boats at sunset lining up near the shoreline.
