THE VOICE
Thinking is a possession that is priceless and expensive when you pay for the consequences. It occurs without discrimination on class, creed, gender or even species. Humans, animals and even celestial entities enjoy this freedom, but not everyone benefits from it. But some suffer from lack, like that poor goldfish that swims in circles!
Although one thing is thinking never really stops, yes, it just won’t shut up like any teen girl obsessed with any band/entertainer or any researcher about the latest chatgpt version or any atheist just waiting to pounce open someone saying thank god!
While each of you is allegedly the master of your own thinking, when you state a statement it implies a desire for that thought, but do you really wish it?
Most people talk about the inner voice that guides them across gloomy bridges and helps them elude seemingly wrong directions.
And yet it can be proposed that 90% of people are certain that they are right and everything they do is right in their situation. One of the most astonishing memories begins with - at that moment something in me told I need to do this. I understand honey, but that might also be your own thinking, which is influenced by structures and opinions and may not always be accurate or even logical.
Take the scenario of two men walking down a bustling street to reach their office. They bumped into each other when both were much thinking about their day ahead. One man thought the other was rude and a jerk and so forth. The other thought, "What a bad day." One blamed the other, the other blamed the day itself.
Without showing any kindness for the other they had someone to blame even for the smallest of situations or trouble. The pressures of the 21st century make people believe they are in an existential crisis and creates a constant feeling of inadequacy that clouds their thinking. When you don’t know your inner voice, your thinking is messed up. If you're astute, you should take some time - Rome wasn't built overnight.
Now, if your inner voice doesn’t seem to be the most reliable, before taking your most consequential decisions and idealizing your inner voice check if that voice is an imposter?
Quote for the week summarizing our awesome blog exchange:
Shakespeare wrote: “Beware the ides of March".This quote is an example of how the inner voice can be wrong. We should take our time to reflect and think twice before acting upon our inner voice. When in doubt, it's best to seek advice from others and be sure that our decisions are well thought through..
